Pastoral Care

Our Rector is available for hospital visits when the church is notified.  Medical confidentiality laws generally make it impossible to know who is in the hospital, otherwise.  Please call the office to let us know the name of the hospital, and appropriate room number, in order to receive this healing ministry.

Eucharistic Ministers

Clergy are the primary Eucharistic Ministers, but the Bishop also licenses Lay Eucharistic Visitors to bring communion to those who are otherwise unable to attend a public communion service.  Please contact Mother Paula to let her know if you would like to receive communion at home.  If you are interested in becoming a Visitor, you need to attend Safeguarding God's Children training, and contact Mother Paula about applying for a license.

Prayer Shawl
If you like to knit, please consider helping our church restart the prayer shawl ministry.  Volunteer knitters create lovely, warm shawls, and either they take them to those in need, or send the shawls with clergy and lay visitors as an expression of the community's care.

Prayer Chain
Our church regularly publishes prayer needs for those who need to be surrounded by a circle of care.  You may add someone to the prayerchain or join the group who receives information to pray, by contacting the church office.
